“Don’t feel bad for one moment about doing what brings you joy.”

A Court of Thorns and Roses is the first book in A Court of Thorns and Roses Series. To say I am late for the party would be the understatement of the year. However, I say it’s never too late to join the fun! A Paranormal YA Romance with passion and complex characters living in a magical world, this is one EPIC story that you will not want to miss. In a world full of magic, courts, and faeries, a human girl named Feyre is taken on a journey that she will never forget. Feyre is forced to leave her family and her home and live with the faeries. She has been raised to despise their race and yet, she forms a friendship with the high Faerie Tamlin. It doesn’t take long for their friendship to transform into love. With evil magic threatening the well being of their entire world, Tamlin and Feyre are ripped apart. And yet, even when life and death are on the line, she will persevere in order to protect Tamlin and prove her love.

“I love you,’ he whispered, and kissed my brow. ‘Thorns and all.”

Told in Feyre’s POV, A Court of Thorns and Roses offers a perfect blend of intrigue, complex characters, passion, action and tender romance. Feyre is one strong heroine and when she is faced with the unthinkable, she doesn’t stop fighting. Overall, I highly recommend A Court of Thorns and Roses to readers who enjoy a well written YA Paranormal Romance and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

*I listened to this book on AUDIBLE!
